Solid Waste and Recycling Advisory Committee

The Board of Selectmen are looking for volunteers to form a Solid Waste and Recycling Advisory Committee.  The committee shall study the Transfer Station to make recommendations to the Selectmen to help the Transfer Station meet their mission to provide efficient, safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible waste disposal and recycling services. Key goals include maximizing waste diversion (recycling/reduction), ensuring regulatory compliance, managing costs, and safeguarding current and future generations public health by properly handling solid waste in a clean, safe, workplace and user friendly environment.
